Not into girls

I wanted to make sure I didn't miss #WipItUpWednesday a 3rd week in a row, get some notes out of "Laura Learns" so I'd have a better idea of the book's length (looking to be shorter like "Laura Challenges," which was 47K after the editor did her magic, and also share a bit of scene that isn't going to be in the finished book because the chapter it would go in is in Jack's POV and this is in Laura's. After Jack is taken off in the adult bookstore to look at ageplay-related costumes, Laura discusses with the experienced Tonya about impact play.

​"Now that he's gone, I have a few suggestions just for you," Tonya started, only continuing after Laura nodded, "You saw how he responded to the simple lash on his palms and what he's thinking on is way, way worse."

Laura swallowed hard. "Could you please do the same for me? He wasn't exaggerating about how little we've tried implements so far."

"Of course. Same deal. Palms out. Same strength I used on him?"

Laura nodded. The metal desk felt so cold against the tops of her hands as she pressed them down in the same place Jack had, her arms flexing as she tried to control the trembling that crept through her body.

Tonya traced the supple leather over Laura's left palm before lifting and bringing it crashing down again.

Moaning, Laura let her eyes slip shut.

"Something tells me where this challenge may be heading." Tonya rubbed her thumb over Laura's punished skin.

"I-I'm not into women," Laura protested.

"No, but you certainly enjoyed that in a way he didn't." Continuing to rub Laura's palm, Tonya urged, "Open your eyes, hon. That's all we're doing, 'cept for talking."

Laura wetted her lips with her tongue before complying. "I didn't just moan at that, did I?" she giggled.

"So teasing aside, I have a serious suggestion with the difference in your responses to a moderate lash with a simple strap. You should show him the four tailed tawse and once he's bent over the desk you should switch to a strap."

"Isn't this the sort of scene where a number of lashes is counted?"

"Often it is. What are you thinking for a number since he didn't have a request?"

"What if I said forty? That doesn't seem like too low a number, but not pushing him so hard that he's guaranteed to safe word. He should feel overall good, right?"

"I have to agree, since he isn't a serious masochist. It's too bad that the scene he wants doesn't allow for a warm up spanking. Unless—" Tonya started to laugh.

"What?" Laura demanded even as she joined Tonya in laughter.

"I could surprise him with a 'I think a little boy needs a spanking before he gets his scene. Do you think he'd be game?"

"That sounds like great fun. I love it! So did you have any other thoughts just for me?"

Controlling her mirth, Tonya asked, "Are you okay running with no script?"

Laura nodded. "I should just be able to watch some old movie to get an idea of how to start talking?"

"Yeah. Okay, let's join them. Chris, Amy, you both coming?"

Chris helped Amy to her feet. "Just after you, Momma."
